The Pokémon Direct also showcased more gameplay for Pokémon Champions, an online battle-focused game, and the highly anticipated Pokémon Legends: Z-A, set to launch on October 16. A new feature in the Pokémon Legends universe is rogue Mega Evolutions, where creatures evolve independently and cause chaos, requiring players to team up with friends to defeat them.
Nintendo is introducing a special Switch 2 bundle alongside Z-A, which includes the game and console for 9.99. Interestingly, this price matches the launch bundle of the system with Mario Kart World. The company plans to increase the price of the original Switch in certain regions starting in August.
