Nazara To Publish Hit PC Game Bodycam On Epic Games’ Fortnite

This moment marks a significant milestone not only for Bodycam but also for the evolving landscape of creator-led gaming. As Nitish Mittersain, CEO of Nazara Technologies, articulated, this launch represents a pioneering step for the company within the Epic Games-owned platform. “Thanks to UEFN, Fortnite is rapidly becoming the go-to hub where creators, brands, and gamers converge,” he noted, expressing pride in introducing a premium PC franchise like Bodycam into the vibrant Fortnite ecosystem.

Innovative Collaboration

The development of Bodycam is a testament to collaboration, having been crafted in partnership with prominent UEFN creator Virstate and supported by Reissad Studio, the original architects behind Bodycam. This new island within Fortnite seamlessly merges high-stakes tactical action with community-driven modes, all optimized for Fortnite’s expansive player base across console, PC, and mobile platforms.

Zakaria and Mahdi, the founders of Virstate, shared their enthusiasm, stating, “We believe bringing Bodycam to Fortnite as an island will inspire other leading gaming IPs to embrace UEFN. Our goal is to showcase the platform’s limitless potential by delivering one of the most ambitious experiences ever built.”

Echoing this sentiment, Luca and Leo, founders of Reissad Studio, expressed their excitement about the project. “Bodycam was created to push the boundaries of realism in games. With UEFN, we are thrilled to bring that vision to millions of Fortnite players around the world completely free.”
