As Microsoft Ignite 2025 unfolds in San Francisco, the Windows Insider Program is buzzing with fresh updates that promise to enhance user experience. Among the most notable advancements is the debut of Copilot Actions across all Insider channels, alongside new Release Preview builds for Windows 11 versions 24H2 and 25H2.
Copilot Actions
Copilot Actions introduces an innovative AI feature within the Copilot on Windows 11, allowing users to articulate tasks they wish for an AI agent to perform. This feature leverages both desktop and web applications to execute the specified tasks. Currently, Copilot Actions is classified as an experimental feature within Copilot Labs. To access it, users must download the latest version of the Copilot app (version 1.25112.74 or higher) and enable it through the settings menu. The rollout of this updated Copilot app is now available to all Insider channels, with further details accessible on the Microsoft Copilot website.
