Is the Razer Kishi Ultra Worth It?
It’s no secret that phone controllers are a dime a dozen, with so many options to choose from that it’s enough to make your head spin. So when you come across a deal like seeing the Razer Kishi Ultra for 50% off for Black Friday, it makes you wonder whether you need to add another controller to the arsenal.
When it comes to gaming, Razer is one company that practically everyone knows about, and for good reason. The company offers a wide variety of products, but it only recently started taking the mobile gaming scene a bit more seriously, and it started with the Kishi Ultra.

Frankly, I’m a sucker for controllers, regardless of whether they are meant for traditional gaming or to attach to my various phones and tablets. Needless to say, I picked up the Kishi Ultra for myself shortly after its release, and it’s one that keeps making its way into my rotation of controllers.
More than anything else, it’s because of the ergonomics, as the Kishi Ultra was designed to feel like a traditional controller, despite being designed for phones and tablets. The Ultra is just very comfortable to use for longer gaming sessions, a trait that is becoming increasingly difficult to find for someone with chronic wrist pain.
However, Razer also made sure to pack a bunch of extra features into the Kishi Ultra. These include things like the Sensa HD Haptics for better haptic feedback in supported games, along with the Chroma RGB, and we all know that having RGB gives you an edge while gaming.
But that’s not all, as the Kishi Ultra will work well with larger devices like foldable phones and some small tablets. It was designed to support up to the iPad Mini, which features an 8.3-inch display, and this also makes it great to pair with foldable phones.
So even if you already have a controller that you enjoy and rely upon, I would at least recommend checking out the Kishi Ultra for yourself. You might just be surprised.
