    • Piglin
    • Zombified Piglin

  • The fullscreen mode has been updated to no longer utilize exclusive mode.

Debug Screen

Default JVM Options

  • The initial heap size has been decreased to 2GB.

Developer’s Note: This adjustment aims to mitigate the frequency of crashes observed in recent snapshots. For those encountering crashes, please consult the help article for guidance on configuring memory allocation.

Technical Changes

  • The Data Pack version has been updated to 99.2.
  • The Resource Pack version is now at 81.1.

Data Pack Version 99.2

  • Modifications have been made to the <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:nbt text component format.

Commands

Changes to <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>/fetchprofile

  • A new <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>entity subcommand has been introduced, allowing players to print profile information from an entity in the world:
    • Syntax: <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>/fetchprofile entity
    • If the targeted entity lacks a profile (currently only Players and Mannequins possess one), the command will not execute successfully.
    • The profile is displayed as-is, without additional resolution.

Text components

<span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:selector

  • The <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>selector field will no longer accept trailing data after a selector.

<span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:nbt

  • Tags resolved with the <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:nbt text component, when the <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>interpret field is set to <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>false, will now be pretty-printed instead of being flattened into a single <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>text component.
  • Contents of the <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>nbt and <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>block fields will no longer be silently rejected if parsing fails.
  • The <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>entity field will no longer accept trailing data after a selector.
  • A new option, <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>plain, has been added to remove styling from pretty-printed text:
    • The <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>plain and <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>interpret options cannot be enabled simultaneously.
