Arc Introduces Arc X1 Gaming Handheld
India-based gaming company Arc has unveiled its first gaming handheld, the Arc X1. This innovative device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G2 Gen 2 chipset and runs on OwlOS, a custom Android-based operating system designed specifically for the handheld.
The Arc X1 comes equipped with the Snapdragon G2 Gen 2 chipset, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Additionally, users have the option to expand storage with a microSD card slot.
To ensure optimal performance during extended gaming sessions, Arc has integrated a built-in active cooling system with a fan into the Arc X1.
Featuring a 7-inch LCD display with Full HD resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate, the Arc X1 offers a stunning visual experience. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added durability.
The Arc X1 boasts zero drift replaceable analog sticks, microswitch ABXY buttons, a D-pad, two programmable rear buttons, and dual Linear Resonant Actuators for haptic feedback.
Running on OwlOS, users can enjoy playing Android games, running emulators, and utilizing cloud streaming services on the Arc X1. The operating system also allows for customization of performance settings, controls, resolution scaling, fan curves, and more.
With a 9,300mAh battery and support for 27W wired fast charging, the Arc X1 offers up to eight hours of usage in silent mode. Additional features include front-facing stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual microphones, and a USB Type-C 3.1 port. Weighing approximately 500g, the Arc X1 is designed for portability and convenience.
Early waitlisters can purchase the Arc X1 for INR 29,500, while regular customers can buy it for INR 33,500 starting October 2.
