In a notable development for Android users, a new “Buy devices” menu has been seamlessly integrated into the Android version of the “Google Play Store” app as of early October 2026. This addition opens the door for users to easily access a curated selection of products available on the “Google Store.”
Enhanced Shopping Experience
The focus of this new feature is predominantly on Google Pixel devices, showcasing the latest offerings such as the “Pixel 11” series and the “Google Pixel Watch 4 / 5.” This streamlined access allows consumers to explore and purchase these devices directly from the app, enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Back in July 2025, Google had hinted at this integration in its “Google System Updates,” which outlined new features aimed at bolstering the security and reliability of Android devices. Following this announcement, the integration began to take shape in early March 2026, when products from the “Google Store” started to appear in a spotlight carousel within the “Apps” tab, under the banner “Google Pixel on the Google Store.” However, this initial phase was merely a temporary display.
With the recent launch of the “Buy devices” menu, users can now navigate directly to a selection of Google Pixel devices, making the purchasing process significantly more straightforward. While the menu does not encompass the entire range of products available on the “Google Store,” it effectively highlights the most sought-after items.
Additionally, the Android “Google Play Store” app frequently features special offers on Google Pixel devices. Although there are currently no active promotions, anticipation surrounds the potential launch of a special offer to celebrate the full integration of the “Google Store” into the app.
