CHARTS: Black Ops 6 spends second week at No.1 on Steam

The gaming landscape continues to evolve, with the latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise, Black Ops 6, once again claiming the top spot on Steam. Launched on October 25th, this title has not only captivated players but has also proven to be a significant success for Microsoft. In a recent communication to investors, the company highlighted that Black Ops 6 has emerged as the most successful entry in the franchise’s history, contributing to an impressive influx of Game Pass subscribers, surpassing all previous launches.

Steam’s Competitive Rankings

In the competitive arena of gaming, Counter-Strike 2 remains a strong contender, securing the second position on the charts. Meanwhile, Dragon Age: The Veilguard has made a noteworthy entrance, debuting in third place and achieving a remarkable peak of over 89,000 concurrent users since its release.

Following closely is Throne and Liberty, a collaboration between Amazon and NCSoft, which has slipped to fourth place. Just behind it, pre-orders for Monster Hunter Wilds by Capcom are generating buzz as the action RPG is set to launch on February 28th.

Valve’s Steam Deck maintains its position at sixth, while War Thunder has climbed to seventh place. Notably, Naraka: Bladepoint from NetEase has surged 29 spots to secure the eighth position, fueled by the introduction of a new hero, Cyra.

Returning to the Top Ten is Cyberpunk 2077, thanks to a substantial 50 percent price reduction, while the newly-released PC version of Red Dead Redemption makes its debut at tenth place on Steam.
