About Ornelia
Ornelia invites players into a vibrant world where acts of kindness directly influence the environment. Unlike traditional god games that often emphasize destruction, this title focuses on benevolence as the driving force behind progress. Players will embody a guardian role, nurturing the Kinous—charming and expressive creatures that thrive beneath the majestic Kiskanu tree. Each act of compassion not only aids the Kinous but also strengthens the tree, which glows brighter with the flourishing of the community.
As a guardian, players can engage with the world in a tactile manner. They can lift Kinous to assist them, invoke small miracles to clear obstacles, or reshape the landscape in real-time. The Kinous are responsive, showcasing their emotions, seeking guidance, and celebrating the achievements of their shared village.
Creation at Your Own Pace
Upon its Early Access launch, Ornelia will feature a Create Mode, allowing players to design and develop their villages without the constraints of time. This mode emphasizes personalization, enabling players to craft unique towns that reflect their individual styles, whether they prioritize efficiency or aesthetic appeal. Looking ahead to the full release, an Adventure Mode will be introduced, where players can embark on a narrative quest to revive the Kiskanu tree, combating the encroaching threat of the “Black Mass.”
