John Bert, deputy CEO of Focus Entertainment, expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic reception of Space Marine 2, stating, “We have been honoured by the incredible response from fans following the launch. We will continue to support the game with exciting content and regular updates in the coming years. Today, we are thrilled to announce that the adventure will continue with Space Marine 3.” He emphasized that players can anticipate an immersive campaign, a multiplayer mode, and groundbreaking innovations that aim to elevate the standards of third-person action games.

Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive, echoed this sentiment, noting the significance of Space Marine 2 in the company’s history. “It has proven to be a transformative game for Saber,” he remarked. “It is the culmination of everything we have learned about game development in our 25 years in the business. We are now starting to develop Space Marine 3, a game that carries with it tremendous expectations from our rapidly expanding fanbase.” Karch assured fans that while the team will continue to nurture the Space Marine 2 universe, they are eager to apply their insights to create an even larger and more spectacular experience in the third installment. He described this endeavor as an opportunity to craft a genuine love letter to the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

As the development progresses, anticipation builds around the promise of large-scale battles and enhanced gameplay mechanics that could redefine the genre. The collaboration with Games Workshop is expected to further enrich the narrative and gameplay experience, setting the stage for what could be a landmark entry in the franchise.
