Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is Out Now on PC, iOS and Android

Netmarble Releases Game of Thrones: Kingsroad on Multiple Platforms

Netmarble has announced the release of the action RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad on PC, iOS, and Android. The game is now available on platforms such as Steam, Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store in regions including the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East. The company plans to reveal a release date for Asia later this year.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad immerses players in a new character within the franchise, who unexpectedly becomes the heir to House Tyre, a small Northern noble house. Players can choose from three roles: Knight, Sellsword, and Assassin, and must navigate through various combat challenges using their class abilities in real-time action combat.

The game, inspired by HBO’s Game of Thrones series and George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books, features an original story with familiar characters. The appearance of these characters is based on the actors from the TV adaptation, with notable cameos such as the dragon Drogon, who serves as a Field Boss.

Building on feedback from Early Access on Steam, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad now offers expanded gameplay beyond the initial chapters, introducing new zones like Storm’s End and Felwood with the Chapter 3 update. Future updates will continue to add content from the books and TV series, allowing players to explore the continent of Westeros fully.

Alongside the game’s launch, Netmarble has addressed the Founder’s Pack DLC issue for players who did not purchase it during Early Access. The studio has informed players that the DLC may appear in their in-game mailbox, but will be removed for those who did not buy it.

Game director Hyunil Jang has hinted at darker storylines in future updates, exploring themes of religion and societal change within the medieval setting of Westeros. Players interested in Game of Thrones: Kingsroad can watch the official launch trailer for a glimpse of the game’s immersive world.
