KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME Now Available Worldwide

Akatsuki Games TOHO CO., and Production I.G have launched their new mobile turn-based RPG KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME, which is now accessible globally for iOS via App Store and Android via Google Play. Players are now able to collect their pre-registration rewards, and the highly anticipated 5-star character Reno Ichikawa has made a special appearance in collaboration with Kaiju No. 8 Season 2.

Reno Ichikawa debuts in KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME in his “Numbers Weapon 6” Outfit through the latest pickup gacha. Additionally, players can obtain the 5-star AR-Boreas (Assault Rifle) weapon. The official KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME Web Store is now live, offering better value for Dimensional Crystals compared to the app.

KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME is currently available for Android and iOS, with a PC (Steam) version set to be released soon. As a result of exceeding 1 million pre-registrations, all players will be rewarded with 100,000 Credits, 1,000 Dimensional Crystals, The Game Gacha Ticket x10, 4-star playable characters [Aiming for Greater Heights] Mina Ashiro and [Blade Specialist] Soshiro Hoshina, and a 5-star character of their choice upon logging in.

Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 is now streaming with English dubs and subs on Crunchyroll, along with all 12 episodes of the first season and the side story episode “Hoshina’s Day Off.” The opening theme song “You Can’t Run From Yourself” is performed by Aurora, while the ending theme song “Beautiful Colors” is performed by OneRepublic.

Crunchyroll describes the anime as a world plagued by creatures known as Kaiju, where protagonist Kafka Hibino aspires to join The Defense Force. His promise to enlist with childhood friend Mina Ashiro leads him on a journey where he meets Reno Ichikawa, reigniting his determination to protect humanity.
