McDonald’s launching Minecraft adult Happy Meal and ‘exclusive collectible’ toys

In a groundbreaking collaboration, McDonald’s is set to introduce its inaugural “adult Happy Meal,” partnering with the beloved video game Minecraft. This innovative offering will coincide with the upcoming release of the Minecraft movie, which boasts a star-studded cast including Jason Momoa, Jack Black, and Jennifer Coolidge. As part of the promotional festivities, McDonald’s will roll out “A Minecraft Movie Meal” across its restaurants in the UK and Ireland starting March 26.

Exclusive Collectibles and Menu Additions

The limited-edition meal will feature a classic Big Mac, along with a choice of either nine McNuggets or four Veggie Dippers, complemented by a side and a drink. Each meal will also include one of six specially designed collectible toys, reimagined in Minecraft’s distinctive blocky style, showcasing iconic McDonald’s characters such as Grimace, the Hamburglar, and Birdie the Early Bird.

We’re always looking for fun and exciting ways to bring excitement to our menu, and the A Minecraft Movie Meal is a perfect way to bring two icons together.”

In addition to the themed meal, McDonald’s will unveil several new menu items inspired by the Minecraft universe. Among these is the Apple Cake McFlurry, featuring delightful swirls of apple and shortcake pieces, paired with a tangy sour apple sauce. Another highlight is the limited-edition Nether Flame sauce, a spicy concoction infused with crushed red pepper and cayenne, balanced by hints of garlic and sweetness.
