According to reports from The Guardian, the Minecraft parks may either be integrated into existing theme parks or developed as standalone attractions in urban centers. This strategic partnership with Merlin, known for operating renowned attractions such as Alton Towers, Legoland, Sea Life, and Madame Tussauds, marks a significant leap in bringing the Minecraft universe to life.
While this venture is ambitious, it is not Mojang’s first foray into real-world experiences. Earlier this year, the company teamed up with Supply + Demand to create the Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue in Plano, Texas, an engaging and interactive quest that allowed players to immerse themselves in the Minecraft world.
