Features and Bug Fixes
Blocks
- Pick block functionality has been extended to all variations of LightBlock, from lightblock0 to lightblock15 (MCPE-135298).
- New definitions for “oakplanks”, “spruceplanks”, “birchplanks”, “jungleplanks”, “acaciaplanks”, and “darkoak_planks” have been added to blocks.json (MCPE-177977).
- Definitions for “mossystonebrickdoubleslab”, “smoothquartzdoubleslab”, “normalstonedoubleslab”, “cutsandstonedoubleslab”, and “cutredsandstonedouble_slab” have also been included.
- The shelf comparator signal now functions correctly from the back of the Shelf in all orientations (MCPE-225226).
- In Creative Mode, interacting with an unpowered Shelf will now replace the Shelf item with the player’s selected item instead of swapping them.
- Items on the Shelf have been repositioned to sit more naturally on the Shelf.
Copper Decorations
- Introduced a Copper Torch:
- A green variant crafted from a Copper Nugget, Coal, and Stick.
- It functions identically to the regular Torch.
- Added Copper Bars:
- These function like the existing Iron Bars block.
- They are made from copper and will oxidize over time.
- Introduced Copper Chain:
- This functions like the existing Chain block, now renamed to Iron Chain.
- Crafted from copper and will oxidize over time.
- Added Copper Lantern:
- Crafted similarly to a regular Lantern but utilizes Copper and a Copper Torch.
- The lantern will oxidize, changing its appearance as it ages.
- Functionally identical to the Lantern.
Copper Chests
- Resolved an issue where Copper Chests played default sounds when walked on, jumped, or landed (MCPE-223737).
Copper Golem Statue
- Fixed an issue where the statue’s pose did not always update in multiplayer and split-screen modes.
- The statue now pops when pushed by a piston, similar to other non-full cube decorative blocks.
- Addressed the issue of the statue being unable to be waterlogged (MCPE-225241).
Lightning Rods
- Fixed the issue where only unoxidized Lightning Rods emitted a Redstone signal when struck by lightning.
- All Lightning Rods now flash white when hit by lightning, mirroring the Java version.
Mobs
- Resolved the issue where Wolf Armor only appeared visually after taking damage, rather than when equipped (MCPE-225471).
- Foxes now recognize Honey Bottles as food items and will prioritize picking them up like other food items.
Copper Golem
- The Copper Golem will now only count blocks towards its maximum when it can actually create a path to them (MCPE-223837).
- When leashed, the Copper Golem will no longer attempt to transport items.
- Fixed issues with leashing Copper Golems to other entities.
- Addressed positioning issues when sitting in boats.
- Fixed a cloning issue when the Copper Golem turns into a statue (MCPE-225251).
- Resolved the issue of the Copper Golem trying to pathfind to blocks below a floating Copper Chest that is too far for it to open.
- Fixed the problem of the Copper Golem sometimes placing two statues when transforming (MCPE-225259).
- Reduced the collision box size, allowing the Copper Golem to fit through doors like other mobs.
- Fixed the step4 sound file issue that prevented it from playing (MCPE-223857).
General
- Improved blending around frozen river chunks (MCPE-189996).
User Interface
- The /hud command now correctly hides all touch buttons when used to hide touch controls (MCPE-184856).
- Action bar messages now feature a text shadow (MCPE-186346).
- The /hud command now also hides the horse and camel bars, along with the locator bar (MCPE-184858).
Accessibility
- Text-to-Speech support has been added to all dressing room pages.
