Netmarble has unveiled its upcoming title, Mongil: Star Dive, during a presentation at Unreal Fest Orlando. This exciting announcement marks a significant step for the Korean gaming company, as they confirmed that the PC version of the game will be launched exclusively on the Epic Games Store. In addition to the PC release, a mobile version will also be available through the Epic Games Store’s mobile app.
Details on the Game’s Release
This revelation follows the initial announcement of Mongil: Star Dive at G-Star 2024 last November, where Netmarble hinted at a multi-platform release, including PC, mobile, and console, but did not specify any particular platforms at that time.
By opting for the Epic First Run program, Netmarble stands to benefit significantly, as this initiative allows third-party developers to retain 100% of the net revenue from games that are exclusively published on the Epic Games Store for the first six months. However, it remains unclear whether Netmarble plans to extend the game’s availability to other PC platforms once the exclusivity period concludes.
The new trailer for Mongil: Star Dive, showcased at Unreal Fest Orlando, highlights the game’s commitment to accessibility, featuring voiceovers in Korean, Japanese, and English. Additionally, players can expect subtitles in a variety of languages, including French, German, Spanish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Indonesian, Thai, and both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
Netmarble announced that ‘MONGIL: Star DIVE’ is coming exclusively to the Epic Games Store on PC as part of the Epic First Run program in this presentation recorded at the State of Unreal at Unreal Fest Orlando. The title will soon be coming to mobile as well, so keep an eye out for it on the mobile version of the Epic Games Store.
