Need for Speed Carbon Reaches Android

Unofficial Mobile Adaptation of Need for Speed Carbon Released for Android

The list of unofficial mobile adaptations continues to grow with a new experimental port of Need for Speed Carbon for Android. Developed by codepdbh, this port is based on a re-compilation of the Xbox 360 version of the game. The graphics are powered by the engine from the fan project NFSMW Android Evolved.

According to the developer, the game runs at approximately 60 FPS at 1080p resolution on a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, there are still some brief stutters during races that need to be addressed.

The port includes touch controls with customizable on-screen button layouts and support for Bluetooth gamepads. Players can adjust resolution and frame rate limits in the settings, although stability at frame rates above 60 FPS requires further testing.
