Subscribers of Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass PC, and Game Pass Console are currently invited to participate in the open beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This follows the historic addition of Modern Warfare 3 to Game Pass in July, marking it as the first title from the franchise to join the service. Anticipation builds as Black Ops 6 is set to launch on October 25, 2024, as the first Call of Duty game to debut on the subscription service on its release day.
In a strategic move, Microsoft has recently adjusted Xbox Game Pass pricing and announced plans for a new Standard subscription tier that will exclude day-one releases. Furthermore, there are discussions regarding the potential introduction of additional tiers, including a cloud-only option, indicating a continued evolution of the service to meet diverse gaming preferences.
