Pixel 11 Series Owners Face Genshin Impact Issues
The Google Pixel 11 phones, equipped with a Tensor G6 processor using a PowerVR GPU, are currently facing a setback – owners cannot play Genshin Impact on these devices due to severe graphical problems. Reports indicate that the developer has stated PowerVR GPUs do not meet the game’s minimum requirements.
One player, Leonardo, reached out to the Genshin Impact studio to report the issues. The studio confirmed the GPU compatibility issue, as seen in Leonardo’s screenshot.
Last year, Pixel 10 series owners also experienced similar graphical issues with Genshin Impact, as the Tensor G5 chip in those devices also featured PowerVR graphics. Google has assured users that a fix is in progress, with an update expected to address the optimization issue in the upcoming game update.
While it’s positive that a solution is on the horizon, questions arise as to why this issue has resurfaced with the Pixel 11 series after being addressed with the Pixel 10 phones. With Genshin Impact being a popular game, one would expect closer collaboration between Google and developer Hoyoverse to optimize the game for new device launches.
Despite the challenges, Pixel 11 owners can look forward to a resolution soon, as efforts are underway to rectify the compatibility issue. Let’s hope for a swift resolution to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience for all users.
