PS2 Emulator NetherSX2 Releases Major Update
PS2 emulation on Android has been steadily improving with the latest update from NetherSX2. The emulator, developed by Trixarian, has released version 2.0 (build 4248) with significant changes in appearance and performance.
The new version features a revamped touch control scheme with additional buttons for rewind, save states, macros, and more. The updated GameDB conversion script promises improved performance by incorporating the latest settings and fixes from the main PCSX2 emulator.
For those looking for a more stable experience, NetherSX2 Classic (build 3668) offers an alternative based on an older build of AetherSX2. This version may perform better on certain devices and is also updated to version 2.0 with the same enhancements.
It’s important to note that users cannot have both versions of NetherSX2 installed on the same device, and save states are not compatible between the standard and Classic versions. Users are advised to create hard saves before switching between the two.
