Game Booster Plus Module Now Available for One UI 7 Devices
Earlier this year, a new Good Lock module called Game Booster Plus was leaked for One UI 7. Now, with the smoother rollout of One UI 7, the Game Booster Plus module is finally available for download via the Galaxy Store. However, some features of this module are not accessible on older devices.
The module offers three menus, allowing users to remap controllers, enable new GPU settings for games, and categorize games. While the controller remapping feature is self-explanatory, the GPU settings and game categorization features require further explanation.
The GPU settings menu introduces new options within the main Game Booster app, enabling users to adjust performance modes and settings on a per-game basis. Noteworthy features include “Texture Filter” and “Multisample anti-aliasing,” which resemble technologies like DLSS and FSR found in Nvidia and AMD GPUs, as well as consoles like the PlayStation 5.
However, all features in the GPU settings menu appear to require a more modern Samsung phone. The menu was accessible on devices such as the S24 Ultra, Flip 6, Tab S10 Plus, and S25, but not on devices like the Z Fold 3 or 4.
The game category settings allow users to designate any app as a game in the system, enabling Game Booster features for that specific app. While adventurous users may apply this to apps like Disney Plus, the effectiveness will be limited for apps that do not heavily utilize the phone’s GPU. This feature is particularly beneficial for emulators, enhancing the quality and performance of emulated games.
