StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II are coming to PC Game Pass

In an exciting development for gaming enthusiasts, Xbox has announced that StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection will be available on PC Game Pass starting November 5. This announcement was made during the recent Tokyo Game Show, marking a significant addition to the Game Pass library for subscribers.

Expanding Access to Iconic Titles

While the multiplayer aspects of both games have been free-to-play on PC for some time, this new offering allows players to delve into the rich single-player campaigns. The StarCraft II: Campaign Collection boasts over 70 missions, drawing from a variety of downloadable content, including fan-favorites like Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm.

StarCraft: Remastered enhances the original 1998 classic with modern features such as stunning 4K visuals, improved audio, and redesigned leaderboards. Although this remaster has been available since 2017, its inclusion in Game Pass is poised to introduce the legendary real-time strategy title to a fresh audience.

Despite their age, both titles maintain vibrant multiplayer communities, a testament to their enduring appeal. StarCraft II, which debuted in 2010, has played a pivotal role in the evolution of live streaming within the gaming industry, further solidifying its place in competitive gaming history.

In addition to the StarCraft news, Blizzard has also revealed that Overwatch 2 will feature skins inspired by the popular anime My Hero Academia. This limited-time promotion will run from October 17 to 30, adding another layer of excitement for fans of the franchise.
