Stellar Blade gets PC release date thanks to leaked PlayStation trailer

Korean developer Shift Up has confirmed the much-anticipated release of their action game, Stellar Blade, for Windows PC, now set for June 11, 2025. This announcement follows an early leak of a trailer on PlayStation’s YouTube channel, which provided a glimpse of what PC gamers can expect from this port.

Enhanced Features for PC Gamers

The upcoming PC version promises a host of enhancements tailored to elevate the gaming experience. Among the features highlighted in the trailer are:

  • Ultrawide Monitor Support: Gamers can enjoy immersive gameplay with support for 32:9 aspect ratios.
  • Advanced Graphics Technologies: The game will utilize DLSS 4 and FSR 3, ensuring stunning visuals and smooth performance.
  • Higher-Resolution Textures: Players can expect improved graphics that bring the game’s vibrant world to life.

While the trailer indicated that preorders are live, they have yet to become available, leaving fans eagerly awaiting further announcements.

Stellar Blade first graced the gaming world as a PlayStation 5 exclusive in April 2024, achieving remarkable success with over a million copies sold shortly after launch. The game also featured a crossover DLC with the popular title NieR: Automata, allowing players to customize EVE with the iconic outfit of 2B.

Interestingly, the PC version will also be published by PlayStation, mirroring the approach taken with the console release. This move adds to the growing portfolio of PlayStation Studios titles making their way to Windows PC, reflecting a broader strategy to reach a wider audience.

As June 11 approaches, anticipation builds not only for the game itself but also for the timing of preorder availability and the official unveiling of the trailer. While it may debut quietly, there is speculation that it could be part of a larger State of Play presentation, generating further excitement among the gaming community.
