Tribe Nine to Shut Down on November 27
Akatsuki Games has made the difficult decision to shut down the free-to-play extreme action RPG Tribe Nine on November 27. This announcement comes just a few months after the game’s launch on PC (Steam) and mobile platforms.
The news also confirms that Tribe Nine Chapter 4 will not be released as part of the main story. All scheduled updates and content releases have been canceled, as stated in the recent Steam news post.
Tribe Nine is currently available on PC (Steam), Google Play for Android, and the App Store for iOS. Players can find more information about the service ending on the Steam page.
Regarding Future Updates and New Content
All scheduled updates and new content releases have been canceled as of May 14. Features, adjustments, and fixes previously announced will not be implemented.
Regarding Unreleased Characters
The addition of Ichinosuke Akiba and Saizo Akiba to the game has been canceled. Refunds for Paid Enigma Entities used for unlocking characters and purchasing items will be issued after the service ends.
Purchases of Items within the App or through the Web Store
As of May 14, paid Enigma Entities and Daily Passes will no longer be sold. Enigma Entities can still be used until the service ends on November 27.
Despite the short period of time before the service ends, Akatsuki Games hopes that players will continue to enjoy Tribe Nine until the shutdown date.
