Telegram, Elon Musk’s xAI partner to distribute Grok to messaging app’s users

In a significant move for both Telegram and Elon Musk’s xAI, CEO Pavel Durov announced on Wednesday a partnership aimed at integrating xAI’s Grok into the popular messaging platform. This collaboration is set to enhance the user experience for Telegram’s vast audience, which exceeds one billion users.

Durov shared the news via a post on X, highlighting that this summer, Telegram users will have access to what he describes as “the best AI technology on the market.” The partnership is structured as a one-year agreement, during which Grok will be seamlessly integrated across all Telegram applications.

Financially, this alliance is poised to bolster Telegram’s position in the competitive tech landscape. Durov disclosed that Telegram will receive a substantial infusion of 0 million in cash and equity from xAI. Additionally, the messaging platform will benefit from 50% of the revenue generated from xAI subscriptions sold through its services.
