In mid-October, Google unveiled Android 15, a significant update that introduced a range of new features to enhance user experience across devices. However, this rollout has not been without its challenges, particularly for users of the Fitbit app, who are now facing a frustrating interface issue.
Fitbit App Users Report UI Problems
Since the update, numerous users have taken to Fitbit’s community forum to voice their concerns about a persistent problem: the top portion of the app’s user interface is being cut off on several pages. This glitch has rendered certain functionalities inaccessible, such as adding custom food entries to the nutritional database or navigating through past data on graphs.
The influx of complaints began around November 7, with the discussion thread quickly accumulating 274 replies and over 13,000 views. While many of the affected users own Pixel devices, reports have also emerged from owners of other brands, including a Xiaomi 14, indicating that the issue is not confined to Google’s lineup.
A Fitbit moderator has acknowledged the problem, confirming that the team is aware and actively investigating the matter. The latest update from the moderator, posted last Monday, reassured users that a solution is in the works.
As the community awaits a resolution, some users, including those with a Pixel 6 Pro, have confirmed experiencing the issue specifically on the Food page, while other sections of the app appear unaffected.
In light of these developments, inquiries have been made to Google for further clarification on the situation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
