In a notable update to the Google Wallet app, users can now access their payment history from Wear OS watches directly within the app. This enhancement, which was hinted at earlier this year, marks a significant improvement in the user experience for those who utilize both their smartphones and smartwatches for transactions.
Previously, the transaction history displayed within Google Wallet was limited to purchases made exclusively through the phone, showcasing only the last ten entries for each stored payment method. With this latest update, however, the app now includes NFC payments executed via Wear OS devices. Users will find a clear indication on the transaction details page, stating “Purchase made on watch” beneath the date and time, providing a more comprehensive overview of their spending.
This integration not only enhances the functionality of Google Wallet but also alleviates the need for users to switch between apps to check their transaction history. Despite this advancement, it is worth noting that the limitation of displaying only the last ten transactions remains unchanged.
