Samsung is currently in the process of deploying an update for its Good Lock module, RegiStar, enhancing the user experience with a few essential bug fixes. This update, now available on the Samsung Galaxy Store under version 1.0.67, was first highlighted by SamMobile.
This latest patch addresses three specific issues, notably improving the reliability of the Back Tap feature across all Galaxy devices. One significant fix resolves a glitch that previously hindered Back Tap functionality when the device was in power-saving mode. Additionally, the update rectifies a bug that affected the Gemini app on the Galaxy Z Flip series, ensuring smoother operation on the cover screen of these innovative foldable devices.
Good Lock serves as a hub for customization, catering to power users eager to maximize their Galaxy phone’s capabilities. Within this versatile app, users will find 20 specialized modules, including RegiStar, which recently received its update. The RegiStar module allows users to:
- Re-configure the menu of the Settings home screen
- Change the order of items, hide options, and manage groups
- Set preferences for displaying the Samsung account on the Settings home screen
- Search through settings change history and modify notification settings
- Activate features by tapping the back of the device (available for Galaxy S/Flip models only)
- Run features by long-pressing the side key
- Access features through a strong press on the screen (exclusive to Fold 4)
For those looking to enhance their device’s functionality, both Good Lock and the RegiStar module can be downloaded from the Galaxy Store. Users who already have RegiStar installed can easily find the latest update by navigating to the Galaxy Store app, tapping the hamburger menu, and selecting Updates.
