This new feature allows users to link their Venmo accounts directly to their Google Play accounts, facilitating seamless transactions for apps and in-app purchases.

With this integration, users can now utilize their Venmo balance or any cards associated with their Venmo account to make purchases. This addition aligns Venmo with other popular third-party payment options already available on the Play Store, such as Cash App Pay and PayPal.
The announcement, made via a blog post earlier today, highlights the growing trend of digital wallets becoming integral to online shopping experiences. For regular Venmo users, this feature presents an appealing opportunity to manage their spending more effectively, allowing them to utilize accumulated balances without the need to share payment information directly with Google.
Interestingly, some users at Android Authority had access to this feature as early as last week, but Google has confirmed that the Venmo integration is now widely available to all users starting today.
To link a Venmo account, users can easily navigate through the Play Store app. By tapping on their profile picture in the top right corner, they can select Payments & subscriptions, followed by Payment methods. A simple scroll down will reveal the option to Add Venmo, making the setup process straightforward and user-friendly.
