Thimbleweed Park 2 is ‘not really a sequel, not really a prequel,’ but it is finally happening

Thimbleweed Park, released in 2017, is a point-and-click adventure game created by Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, receiving an 84% review score. A sequel, Thimbleweed Park 2, is in early development with a projected release in early 2028, featuring the original team and will be available on Windows, Mac, and Linux through Steam and GOG. Ron Gilbert previously expressed a declining interest in 2D adventure games but has since been inspired by recent successes in the genre. Steam just MASSIVELY improved gifting, and I hope Xbox copies it

Valve has updated its Steam digital storefront to enhance the gifting process for PC gamers. The guest checkout system now allows users to purchase and gift any game on Steam without needing a Steam account, expanding beyond just digital gift cards and hardware. Users can share wishlists with friends or family, who can then select and purchase gifts directly from those lists. Additionally, guest users can send games to any email address. Free PC game giveaway will save $20, one for Baldur’s Gate 3 players

Darkest Dungeon—the original—is getting surprise DLC in August

Darkest Dungeon is set to expand with a new DLC titled The Fire's Edge, releasing on August 18th. This DLC introduces two new hero classes, the Duelist and the Runaway, along with new Trinket mechanics and three additional districts.
