New Copilot+ PC Experiences
New Text Actions in Click to Do
We are excited to announce the rollout of two new text actions in Click to Do:
- Practice in Reading Coach: This feature allows users to enhance their reading fluency and pronunciation. By selecting text recognized by Click to Do, users can choose the Practice in Reading Coach action and read aloud, receiving feedback to improve their skills. To access this feature, download the free Microsoft Reading Coach application from the Microsoft Store.
- Read with Immersive Reader: This action transforms the reading experience by displaying recognized text in a distraction-free environment. Originally designed for readers with dyslexia and dysgraphia, Immersive Reader aids users of all ages in improving their reading and writing skills. Users can customize text size, spacing, font, and background theme, and even have text read aloud. This feature is also accessible through the Microsoft Reading Coach application.
These text actions are currently rolling out to Windows Insiders on Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs, with support for AMD and Intel-powered devices expected soon. More information on using Click to Do can be found here.
Finding Photos Saved in the Cloud via Windows Search Box
Windows Insiders in the European Economic Area can now utilize an enhanced Windows Search feature to locate photos saved in the cloud directly from the search box on the taskbar. By simply describing the content, such as “European castles” or “summer picnics,” users can easily find their cloud-stored images alongside those saved locally on their Copilot+ PCs. This improved search experience is gradually rolling out, so immediate availability may vary.
