Galaxy Books could soon stream audio to two Galaxy Buds simultaneously

In the competitive landscape of mobile technology, Android manufacturers are striving to replicate the seamless ecosystem that Apple has cultivated. However, the absence of a proprietary desktop operating system presents a unique challenge for these companies. In response, Microsoft has been enhancing the compatibility between Android devices and Windows systems, introducing features that aim to bridge the gap.

Windows 11 Will Get Bluetooth LE Audio Auracast

Recently, Microsoft made significant strides by integrating Bluetooth LE Audio into Windows 11, which enhances the audio experience for wireless earbuds and headsets. The company is now poised to introduce another innovative feature: Bluetooth Auracast. This functionality will allow users to stream audio to two sets of wireless earbuds simultaneously, a capability that is particularly appealing for those who wish to share audio experiences.

To utilize the Auracast feature, both the computer and the earbuds must support Bluetooth LE Audio. Currently, this feature is being tested on several devices, including:

  • Galaxy Book 5 Pro
  • Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360
  • Seventh-generation Surface Laptop (13.8-inch and 15-inch)
  • Latest 13-inch Surface Pro

Samsung’s lineup of wireless audio devices that are compatible with Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast includes:

  • Galaxy Buds 2 Pro
  • Galaxy Buds 3
  • Galaxy Buds 3 Pro

This means that a Galaxy Book 5 Pro could effortlessly stream audio to two Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, or any other compatible model, simultaneously, enhancing the versatility and user experience for consumers.
