Developed by C Prompt, this title was envisioned as a direct competitor to the established giant, Civilization 6, and aimed to pave the way for the anticipated release of Civ 7 in 2025. However, despite efforts to enhance the game through updates and expansions, Millennia struggled to gain traction, ultimately leading to its demise.

Early feedback regarding Civ 7’s patch 1.2.5 suggests it is a positive development, while Ara 2.0 addresses several player requests. Additionally, the upcoming launch of Endless Legend 2 has generated excitement, despite Amplitude’s long road ahead in early access.
In light of the closure, recent Steam reviews for Millennia have taken a downturn.
