Arc System Works Releases Narrative Game “Dear me, I was…”
The Arc System Works-developed narrative game Dear me, I was…, known for its watercolor-style visuals and rotoscoping, is now available on multiple platforms including Steam, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
The game initially launched on Nintendo Switch on July 31, 2025.
Dear me, I was… follows the life of a woman, showcasing the ups and downs, growth, and challenges of her ordinary life. The game’s official website invites players to experience her story intertwined with others, offering a unique narrative experience with simple interactive elements and a playtime of less than an hour.
The art direction of the game was led by Taisuke Kanasaki, known for their work on titles like Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Another Code: Recollection. Maho Taguchi directed the game, with Ryohei Endo serving as the producer.
