Fortnite for Android returns to the Play Store ‘everywhere’ later this week

Fortnite for Android Returns to Google Play Store

Following a lengthy legal battle between Google and Epic Games, Fortnite for Android is making its official comeback to the Google Play Store after almost six years.

In a recent announcement on Twitter and a video shared on YouTube, Epic Games revealed that Fortnite will be available on Google Play starting March 19, 2026, which is just a few days away.

Despite Fortnite briefly reappearing on the Play Store back in December, it seems that this return wasn’t universal. Epic Games’ latest statement suggests that the availability of Fortnite on Google Play will be more widespread this time around.

As of now, players in the US can already download Fortnite from the Play Store, but the game’s availability may vary in other regions. However, the situation is expected to change once the official return takes place later this week.

Stay tuned for more updates on Fortnite’s return to the Google Play Store.
