  • Player presence is indicated as Offline, Online, In a world, or In a joinable world.
  • Toast notifications will alert players to friend request activities, including when requests are sent, received, or accepted.
  • A new Friends List section in Online Options allows players to manage privacy settings, permit requests, and link Xbox safety settings.
  • Known issues include desynchronization bugs occurring when cancelling or rejecting friend requests, which Mojang has flagged for resolution in future snapshots.

Peer-to-Peer Multiplayer

  • Multiplayer scope settings now include Off, Local, and Online options.

Music and Chaos Cubed Content

  • A new Music Disc titled Bounce by fingerspit can be found in Mineshaft Chest Minecarts located in Sulfur Cave biomes; it outputs a comparator signal of 8 when played in a Jukebox.
  • Five new background music tracks by fingerspit have been added: Shores, Memories, Nightly, Home, and Ebb.
  • Biome music for Sulfur Caves has been activated.

Potent Sulfur Changes

  • Geyser eruption and cooldown times have been randomized based on block position.

  • Noxious Gas can rise through non-collidable waterlogged blocks and spread through other non-collidable blocks.
  • Erupting Potent Sulfur can now propel entities through non-collidable blocks, including Scaffolding.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved instances where the game would crash during the upgrade of legacy worlds.
  • Addressed an issue where Wardens would repeatedly roar in place upon detecting Ghasts.
  • Fixed the problem of Sulfur Spikes in springs not being waterlogged.
  • Enabled bucketed Sulfur Cubes to despawn as intended.
  • Corrected the fall after the explosion advancement trigger, which was not functioning with TNT.
