Crumbl Builds Minecraft in Cookie Form, One Square Block at a Time

Crumbl has embarked on an exciting collaboration with Minecraft, marking its inaugural character licensing venture. For a limited time, from August 31 to September 5, the beloved dessert brand is offering a unique menu featuring six square-shaped treats inspired by the iconic game’s mobs, blocks, and biomes. Pre-orders via the Crumbl app opened a day prior, allowing eager fans to secure their sweet selections ahead of time.

Delightful Dessert Offerings

Each dessert is ingeniously crafted as a four-sided block, topped with a non-edible Minecraft figure that can be removed before indulging. Among the standout offerings is the Grass Block Cake, a delightful creation made of cinnamon vanilla cake enveloped in a chocolate crumb streusel and cinnamon brown sugar. Topped with a layer of brown cream cheese frosting and a grass-textured icing, this cake truly embodies the essence of a lush lawn.

The Creeper Key Lime Sandwich presents a zesty twist, featuring two lime cookies filled with lime icing and encircled by vibrant green sprinkles, all crowned with a playful creeper figure. For those seeking a simpler yet equally delightful option, the Lemon Poppyseed Cookie combines a lemony base with a dollop of lemon curd and lemon buttercream, topped with a charming bee.

Another creative addition, the Cookies & Cream Sandwich, showcases a layer of purple marshmallow mousse filled with brownie and cookies & cream crumbs, nestled between two chocolate cookie squares, topped with an Enderman for a whimsical touch. The Cherry Blossom Cookie incorporates maraschino cherries into a pink dough, adorned with cherry cream cheese frosting and cookie crumbs, along with a tiny pig for added charm. Lastly, the Cookie Butter Cookie features a spiced, marbled cookie-butter square, lavishly topped with melted cookie butter, cinnamon vanilla buttercream, and cookie butter icing, finished off with a delightful chicken figure.

Exclusive Packaging and Promotions

The packaging for these limited-edition treats is designed to resemble the earth blocks from the game, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans. The first 200 customers purchasing a Minecraft 6-pack on launch day will receive a Launch Day Exclusive spoon, while those who pre-order will be rewarded with an in-store Mystery Spoon included in their 6-pack. A 12-pack will feature two of these spoons, with four designs rotating randomly, including a diamond sword, wooden shovel, golden axe, and iron pickaxe. However, it’s essential to note that pre-orders will not come with a spoon.

This seven-day promotion offers a unique opportunity for fans to enjoy square cakes, sandwiches, and cookies adorned with playful figures, but the window is small. If you’re eager to try a Creeper lime sandwich or a grass-block cake, make sure to visit participating Crumbl locations during this limited timeframe.
