Developed by AG Studio, this title has just made its debut, and its trailer presents an enticing vision of gameplay. Players are invited to explore a whimsical, cartoonish fantasy world filled with Pokémon-like companions. The gameplay snippets showcase a variety of activities, including exploring ruins, engaging in creature combat, facing off against formidable bosses, fishing, mining, and even base building. On paper, it appears to blend elements from beloved franchises such as Palworld, Pokémon, Final Fantasy, and Monster Hunter into one delightful package.

Yet, as the adage goes, if something seems too good to be true, it often is. Upon closer inspection, Adventurers Guild fails to deliver on the promises made in its trailer. The screenshots available on its Steam listing bear little resemblance to the vibrant scenes depicted in the promotional video. Adding to the intrigue, the game’s ‘about’ section lists a “customer service” email that appears to belong to an individual rather than an official support channel.
While the exact circumstances surrounding this game remain unclear, many players have expressed their skepticism. The only other title attributed to AG Studio is Farmshore: Out Past the Horizon, which is still in development and presents itself as an unusual blend of Grand Theft Auto and Stardew Valley.
- “Scam with botted/paid/affiliate positive reviews. Blatant false advertising. Wouldn’t surprise me if it was a virus. Like many others have said, STAY AWAY! Be sure to report/flag this game to have it taken down,” warned one user.
- Another echoed, “Trailer looks nothing like what it actually is,” while a third review cautioned, “Do not download or play this game […] Without exception, every single screenshot and all shown gameplay scenes in the video are FAKE! Even the shown screen aspect ratio is FAKE!”
