After just 2 years on sale, 7 ’90s-era Jurassic Park games are getting delisted this March

In a recent announcement, the Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection, a nostalgic compilation of early ’90s games inspired by the iconic film, is set to be delisted from Steam and various other digital storefronts after March 31. This news may prompt some to rush to their keyboards, eager to secure a copy before it’s too late. However, potential buyers should note that acquiring this collection will require an investment of (£25).

Limited Run Games (LRG), the publisher behind this collection, has expressed a commitment to transparency regarding the delisting process. In light of past controversies, such as the abrupt removal of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Retro Collection, LRG aims to provide fans ample opportunity to purchase the game prior to its disappearance from the marketplace. “Our goal is to give fans every opportunity to grab the game before it’s too late,” the company stated, thanking customers for their understanding.

Pricing and Availability

The Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection was released in November 2023, making its impending delisting a relatively swift turnaround. Since its launch, the collection has seen frequent sales, with prices dipping as low as .50 (£6.25) during the recent Steam Winter Sale. As the deadline approaches, many are left wondering if LRG might consider one last promotional sale to entice buyers before the final curtain falls.
