Toxic Growth
This newly introduced defensive upgrade is particularly effective for controlling narrow entry points against overwhelming hordes of enemies. Additionally, the thorns slow down enemies while dealing damage over time. Players can deploy up to three Toxic Growths simultaneously, making it an excellent choice for guarding multiple areas.

- Urticant: Expands the area of Toxic Growth and continues to slow enemies even after they exit.
- Cordyception: The first enemy to enter the growth becomes entangled and will attack other enemies that follow.
- Pollination: Enemies killed within the growth explode, causing toxic damage to nearby foes.
- Zoochory: The first enemy to enter the growth transforms into the Toxic Growth itself.
Minor Augments
- Ankle Shredder: Further slows enemies traversing through the growth.
- Green Thumb: Significantly boosts the health of the Toxic Growth.
- Extra Charge: Increases the maximum number of charges by one.
- Plant Food: Kills made with Toxic Growth may drop healing fruit.
Dark Flare
This upgrade unleashes a beam of energy that inflicts shadow damage on all enemies caught in its path.

- Persistence: Revived players retain all perks from their bleed-out bar.

- Inner Strength: Boosts damage for affected players temporarily.
