While Dark Sun made a brief reappearance during D&D’s 4th edition, the call for its revival in the current 5th edition has been growing steadily. However, the excitement is tempered by legal considerations; Wizards of the Coast has mandated that these books be shrink-wrapped due to their mature content, which has been rated 18+ for profanity, bloodshed, nudity, and sexuality.
