Developers Identify Serious Login Issue
Digital Extremes has decided to delay the global release of Warframe on Android due to a critical authorization problem that was discovered during the limited release in Canada. The issue causes an endless login loop on various devices, primarily affecting Pixel smartphones and tablets, but also impacting other models.
The company has not yet set a new date for the global launch, as they want to ensure the client’s complete stability before proceeding. In the meantime, the Canadian version remains accessible for testing purposes, allowing the team to implement and test the necessary fixes before the worldwide release.
Additionally, Digital Extremes had planned a pre-registration campaign to coincide with the original launch date. Players who registered via Google Play and logged into the game before March 4 were promised exclusive in-game rewards, including the “Cumulus” set with “Cirrus” armor, the “Cumulus” syandana, the “Stratus” pistol skin, the “Spectacra” palette, and a three-day resource booster. The developers have assured that these rewards will still be available, with extended deadlines to accommodate the release delay.
It’s worth noting that the mobile version of Warframe offers cross-platform saves and progress synchronization with other platforms, as well as touch control optimization for a seamless gaming experience.
