The Building a Library quest in Arc Raiders presents a straightforward challenge, centered around a single location within the Buried City. Apollo, the local explosives merchant, tasks players with locating three distinct books within the city library: a detective novel, a romance story, and an adventure tale. While the genres themselves hold little significance, players must focus on uncovering three specific stands within the library’s confines.
How to complete Building a Library in Arc Raiders
To embark on this quest, navigate to the Library situated at the heart of the Buried City, just north of Marano Park. This area can be a bit treacherous, as it is frequently monitored by a Bombardier or Bastion, with a Rocketeer often hovering near Marano Station to the west. However, with a bit of stealth and vigilance against Arcs, players can successfully maneuver through the challenges.

Deliver three books to Apollo
Upon entering the Library, players will receive the objective to collect three specific books from the designated genres. Interestingly, all three items are simply labeled as ‘Library Books’ and can be retrieved from the same room, allowing for flexibility in the order of collection.
- Begin by locating the large room with windows that provide a view of the park. Look for the window that directly overlooks the metro station entrance, where a fallen bookcase blocks the view. Here, you will discover a display stand featuring yellow books. Interact with it to obtain the first book for your inventory.
- Next, ascend the stairs located on the west side of the room to reach the balcony lined with additional bookshelves. At the top, you will encounter another display stand with yellow books. Search this stand and add the book to your collection.
- For the final book, continue along the balcony toward the east side of the room. Keep an eye out for the display stand on your left, rummage through it, and retrieve the last book.
Given that all three books must be collected in one trip, players should avoid attempting to stash them away, especially since a higher rarity augment is necessary for that tactic. Fortunately, the nearby subway station offers a quick exit route to deliver the books back to Apollo. Typically, the Library is not overly crowded, unless players are using it as a strategic base against the nearby Bastion or Rocketeer. If the situation in the park becomes tense, consider using the metro entrance located to the north of the Library for a safer approach.
