In a significant move to enhance gaming accessibility, Microsoft and Ubisoft have announced a collaborative “console-to-PC” promotion. This initiative allows digital owners of select Ubisoft titles on Xbox to seamlessly transition their gaming experience to PC. The array of games included in this promotion is impressive, featuring popular titles such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Far Cry 6, The Crew 2, Rainbow Six Siege, and Watch Dogs Legion.
How It Works
To take advantage of this promotion, players simply need to link their Ubisoft and Xbox accounts. Once linked, signing into the same Ubisoft account on PC via Ubisoft Connect will reveal all available games by August 4th, at the latest. New purchases made on Xbox will be accessible immediately on PC.
Additionally, downloadable content (DLC) is included in this promotion. However, it’s important to note that purchased consumables, such as in-game currency, are restricted to the platform on which they were bought. Furthermore, only selected games that support cross-progression will allow players to transfer their save files between platforms.
