Net bookings up 6% at Take-Two for 2024/25

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of the iconic Grand Theft Auto franchise, has reported a notable six percent increase in net bookings for the fiscal year ending March 2025. The company generated an impressive .65 billion during this period, with a significant 80 percent of that revenue stemming from recurrent consumer spending, which saw a year-on-year increase of seven percent.

Financial Highlights

In addition to the growth in net bookings, GAAP net revenue also experienced a five percent rise, reaching .63 billion. Strauss Zelnick, the CEO and chair of Take-Two, expressed satisfaction with the company’s performance, stating, “We achieved outstanding results in our 2025 Fiscal Year, with each of our labels contributing meaningfully to our performance.”

Looking ahead, Zelnick shared an optimistic outlook for Fiscal 2026, projecting net bookings between .9 billion and .0 billion. He emphasized the excitement surrounding the upcoming product lineup, particularly the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6, which is set to launch in Fiscal 2027. Zelnick believes this new release will not only elevate the company’s financial performance but also establish a new baseline for profitability.

In terms of product performance, Grand Theft Auto 5 continues to impress, having shipped a staggering 215 million copies. Furthermore, recurrent consumer spending related to the franchise has outperformed expectations, increasing by five percent. As anticipation builds for Grand Theft Auto 6, scheduled for release on May 26th, 2026, the company is poised for continued success in the gaming industry.
