The title is also playable on current Xbox systems, thanks to the availability of the Xbox 360 version in the Xbox store, allowing both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S users to enjoy it through backwards compatibility.
The franchise has enjoyed remarkable success, with Red Dead Redemption 2 making its debut on PS4 and Xbox One in October 2018 before arriving on PC in November 2019. According to Take-Two, Rockstar’s parent company, the series has sold over 91 million units globally, with more than 65 million copies of Red Dead Redemption 2 alone. This enduring popularity underscores the game’s significant impact on the gaming landscape.
