Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to make its debut on PC, a highly anticipated announcement made during Marvel’s presentation at New York Comic Con. This latest installment in the beloved franchise will be available on January 30, 2025, through both Steam and the Epic Games Store, inviting fans to add it to their wishlists.
Development Collaboration
The PC version is being meticulously crafted by Nixxes Software, in close partnership with Insomniac Games, PlayStation, and Marvel Games. Julian Huijbregts, Community Manager at Nixxes, expressed enthusiasm about this ongoing collaboration, stating, “Bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to a new audience on PC has been a great experience for us. We are excited to continue this collaboration and bring Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC with a suite of enhanced features, including enhanced ray-tracing options.” He promised more details on features and recommended specifications as the launch date approaches.
Game Editions and Features
Upon its release, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be offered in two editions: the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition (DDE). Players will have the opportunity to upgrade to the DDE, similar to the upgrade paths available on PS5. Below is a brief overview of what each edition includes:

Expanded Gameplay Experience
This new chapter continues the adventures of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, introducing iconic adversaries such as Venom and Kraven, alongside many familiar faces. Players can expect an array of new abilities and traversal options, including Symbiote Surge and Web Wings, as well as an expanded Marvel’s New York featuring new boroughs and side missions to explore. While no additional story content is planned, all previously released post-launch content will be available, enhancing the gameplay experience.
Additionally, the Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack, a charitable collaboration with the non-profit organization Gameheads, will be accessible for PS5 players in October and for PC players upon launch, at no extra cost.
