Pokémon Champions has brought the battle to Android and iOS

Pokémon Champions Launches on Android and iOS

The Pokémon Company International (TPCI) has announced the launch of Pokémon Champions on mobile devices. Originally released on the Nintendo Switch in April, the multiplayer, turn-based strategy game is now available for Android and iOS users.

As part of the mobile launch, TPCI is running a special in-game campaign where players can obtain a free Raichu along with Raichunite X and Raichunite Y mega stones. These items will allow players to mega-evolve Raichu into Mega Raichu X or Mega Raichu Y. The promotion is set to run until September 1, 2026, at 6:49 PM PDT.

Players will find Raichu and its mega stones in their in-game mailbox, accessible on both mobile and Switch platforms. TPCI has also mentioned that Raichu may be obtainable through other means in the game, while the mega stones could potentially be purchased in the in-game shop at a later date.

Additionally, Pokémon Champions supports cross-platform play, enabling players to battle against each other regardless of whether they are on a mobile device, the Nintendo Switch, or Switch 2. Save data can be accessed on any platform by signing into a Nintendo account if the game is played on multiple devices.
