Odeon Cinemas has introduced an exclusive TNT popcorn bucket in celebration of the upcoming A Minecraft Movie, set to hit theaters this April. This unique offering is part of the cinema chain’s Hungry Mob Collectors Combo, which also includes a collector’s cup adorned with seven different character toppers.

Collectible Character Toppers

The character toppers are a delightful assortment for fans, featuring:

  • Creeper

  • Sheep
  • Skeleton
  • Wolf
  • Zombie
  • Baby zombie riding a chicken

In a playful announcement on their social media platforms, Odeon encouraged fans, stating, “Dig in, adventurers, this combo is a real block-buster!” The post included a video showcasing the merchandise, highlighting the excitement surrounding the release.

“The Hungry Mob Collectors Combo is stacking up soon! Packed with a collector’s tin filled with popcorn and a collector’s cup with a character topper, it’s the perfect loot for any Minecraft fan,” they added. “Don’t let it despawn, grab yours before it’s gone! Available from next week in selected cinemas, while stocks last.”

Odeon is not alone in its efforts to provide fans with themed merchandise. Vue Cinemas has also announced two distinctive popcorn bucket designs: a pixel-perfect pickaxe and a classic grass cube. Additionally, Vue will offer the same collectible cups featuring the seven character toppers, available for purchase in-venue starting April 4, coinciding with the film’s UK release.

A Minecraft Movie draws inspiration from the immensely popular video game, set in a world constructed entirely of square-shaped blocks known as the Overworld. The film stars Jack Black as Steve, a mining enthusiast who is unexpectedly transported into the Overworld after discovering a mysterious glowing block. He is soon joined by four companions: Jason Momoa as Garrett ‘The Garbage Man’ Garrison, Danielle Brooks as Dawn, Emma Myers as Natalie, and Sebastian Hansen as Henry.

The film’s synopsis teases an adventurous quest: “To get back home, they’ll have to master this world (and protect it from evil things like Piglins and Zombies, too) while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected, expert crafter: Steve.”

In a recent promotional move, Jack Black shared his original song, “I Feel Alive,” from the film’s soundtrack. The uplifting rock track was released by WaterTower Music, a division of Warner Bros., along with an official lyric video on YouTube on March 20.
