BBC Studios Introduces ‘Bluey’ To The Minecraft Universe

BBC Studios has unveiled an exciting new venture for fans of both the beloved animated series Bluey and the popular game Minecraft. On February 5, players will have the opportunity to step into Bluey’s vibrant world, marking a significant collaboration that merges the charm of the show with the creativity of Minecraft.

Immersive Gameplay Experience

This new downloadable content (DLC), crafted by Jigarbov in partnership with BBC Studios and Ludo Studio, transforms Bluey’s home into an interactive playground within Minecraft. Players will be able to meet Bluey, her sister Bingo, and their parents as they embark on a journey through memorable scenes from the series. The exploration of Bluey’s House promises to be filled with engaging activities, including:

  • Searching for hidden keys
  • Unlocking new rooms
  • Discovering various areas guided by Bluey’s family

As players navigate this enchanting environment, they can partake in a variety of mini-games inspired by the series, such as I-Spy, Hide and Seek, and Ragdoll. Each adventure is designed to uncover Bluey and her family’s favorite items, ensuring that both solo players and friends can enjoy a rich tapestry of details and surprises, including hidden spaces beneath the House.

Marina Mello, BBC Studios’ global director of gaming and interactive, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Bringing Bluey to Minecraft provides fans with a brand-new way to connect with the franchise in a familiar environment. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to innovating the ways our brands extend beyond the screen. Collaborating with Microsoft and Jigarbov allows us to explore interactive storytelling that feels natural to platforms like Minecraft, while staying true to the essence of what makes Bluey special.”

Additionally, players utilizing Minecraft Bedrock can take advantage of a special offer: a free Chattermax Mask available in the Minecraft marketplace until March 6, after which it will be available for purchase. The eagerly anticipated Bluey’s House will officially launch worldwide on the Minecraft Marketplace on February 5, inviting fans to immerse themselves in this delightful crossover experience.
